Summary
We are motivated to know, love, and live for God when we see God's character, sin's stupidity, and the reality of God's judgment.
Review
- What kind of disciple maker are you?
- Do you throw out trite counsel and/or share your experience OR do you speak Jesus?
- Do you look for nice, positive, happy ways to help people through their troubles and sin OR do you speak who Jesus is, what He has done and what He will do?
- How do you motivate and disciple others to know, love and live for God?
- Do you remind them that God is wrathful and should be feared?
- Do you show them the stupidity of sin?
- Do you proclaim the excellencies of who Jesus is, what He has done and what He will do.
- What kind of disciple are you?
- Do you seek to be “very strong to keep and do” God’s ways?
- Are you “very careful to love the LORD your God”?
- Do you have a habit of mediating on and delighting in who the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are, what They have done and what They will do?
