  1. In light of what Jesus does in Chapter 16, why should you listen to Him?
  2. How big of a deal are Jesus' words to you? How seriously do you take the things Jesus says?
  3. Mark ends his gospel making the point that “hearing is believing”, not seeing. Do you have “ears to hear”?
  4. How do the woman respond to the young man’s words?
  5. Peter said in 1 Peter 1:8–9: “Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” How does God’s Word here in 1 Peter encourage you?
